Popped down to Rest Bay yet again this evening with my wife and the nipper.

Fantastic sunset, unfortunately I didn't manage to get the exposure on the foreground rocks right.

Practice, practice!

A revisit to Yosemite, unfortunately not in person, just to the RAW files in photoshop.

I would love to go back though!

I trekked up to the top of the mountain behind my house this evening for a couple of shots.

My last four updates have all been Sunset shots, It may be time for a couple more Waterfall shots I think!!

Rhigos Waterfalls

A 20 minute drive and rough one hour hike to get to this Waterfall from my house.

It's the first time I've ever seen it, there's another waterfall quite close so I'm hoping to get back up there for when I've got more time!

It'll do for now, and as promised - no sunset in sight!

We've had a good 8" in South Wales today, the most this year with more on the way!

I'm hoping to get out with my camera over the next few days, but for now I'll settle with this shot from right outside my front door!

Sunset over The Rhigos

Nipped up to the Rhigos this evening to hopefully catch a decent sunset.

The foreground was pretty uninspiring to be honest, so I metered the image off of the sky to get this silhouette effect.

Rest Bay

Popped down to Rest Bay this evening as I noticed the clouds miraculously disappeared.

We ended up being treated to a rather spectacular orange sunset.

Sgwd Yr Eira

The curtain style waterfall of Sgwd Yr Eira, (Welsh for "Fall of Snow"), was formed where the river Hepste leaps over a fifty foot cliff between high banks.
The main attraction is a narrow path that leads behind the waterfall, allowing you to stand underneath the falls akin to the scene from Last of the Mohicans - although I wouldn't advise jumping off it !
